Terrible twos

Oops, I missed my “birthday”; by over two months! Boy, I must have been busy!

So, for the record: my first post was on 21 June 2006. The 175 posts I have done since then have attracted over 250,000 visits and over 1 million hits (or page views). Woohoo.

I would like to thank all my regulars, all the people who have linked to this site, and all the people who have sent me photos or who taken the time to leave feedback. You make it all worthwhile, a cliche, but true.

I have a long backlog of feedback emails to reply to or to work into new posts (like the anonymous genius who has sent me a date for my “Hexenbecher”, see here). Once I get the new format sorted—and it is nearly finished—I will do a series of update posts and some other tidying up, before letting rip with some recent finds. So, as I said at the outset: stay tuned!
