Merry Meet male & female witches of today…Since I am a practicing witch of ten years, and after studying Alexandrian Wicca, I love this site on the initiation of Janet Owens(now Janet Farrar-Bone). I’d like to share with you a “Great Rite” ritual poem I wrote recently to simplify a “Great Rite” ritual for all to read and you can initiate a new coven member using this poem read by the your High Priest or Priestess…here goes as is….
“IN THIS HOUR, ON THIS NIGHT,
THESE TWO LOVERS SHALL UNITE,
WITH THE CANDLE BURNING BRIGHT,
THESE NEW WITCHES SHALL PERFORM
THE GREAT RITE.
SO SHALL IT BE! HAIL THE INITIATES FOR
YOU ARE PART OF US NOW!”
