More Brocken Money

In a previous post I gave a 1922 example of a Brocken Mountain tourist gimick: Brocken ‘money’ (Brocken or Thale Notgeld). Here is another example of Brocken Money featuring sexy witches from the same period: a 25 Pf note with a caption that translates as ‘Wulpurgis Night at the Witches’ Dancing Place’. Each note in this series survives in two-plate (coloured) and one-plate (uncoloured) versions.
